Alto Huayabamba, part of PUR Projet, is a Peruvian community reforestation program working directly with local coffee and cocoa cooperatives to reinvigorate income models for the local economy. Their objective is to plant over 2,300 hectares of degraded and cultivated land, while pushing the practice of agroforestry through the planting of native tree species with cocoa trees, and forestry plantations. PUR Projet is a collective of varying structures assisting companies in incorporating climate issues through regenerative ecosystems.
